Hello, my friend,
Welcome back to the blog. I’m sitting here in my favourite oversized cardigan, cosy leggings, and tucked up in my little reading nook by the window. The breeze is gently flowing through the curtains, and I’ve got a steaming cup of peppermint tea by my side, the rich scent filling the air. The warmth of the drink seeps into my soul as I reflect on all the blessings and challenges that have shaped this season of my life. I feel content, grounded, and so incredibly thankful for this moment of peace. I’m also filled with gratitude for all of you who take the time to join me here in this space. It’s such a gift to connect, share, and encourage one another on this journey.
Today, I want to dive into a topic that has been on my heart and has been shaping my thoughts and reflections over the past few months: how faith can guide us through the seasons of life, especially when we’re facing tough seasons.
As I’ve navigated various challenges recently, whether it’s in my personal life, my career, or simply in balancing everything. I’ve found myself returning to the one truth that has always steadied me: God is faithful, even when things feel uncertain. Life can be full of twists and turns, and sometimes we can feel overwhelmed by the weight of it all. But in those moments, I’ve come to realise how important it is to lean into God’s promises and trust that His plan for us is greater than any challenge we face.
We often hear people say that we’re “walking by faith, not by sight,” and while that might sound comforting, it’s not always easy to live out. Trusting in God’s timing when we can’t see the full picture requires surrender. It means acknowledging that, no matter how much we may want control, we are not the ones holding all the pieces of our story. It’s a humbling, yet freeing thought.
But here’s the thing: that trust doesn’t mean passive. Instead, it’s an active decision to let go of the anxiety and pressure to have everything figured out right away. When I look at the bigger picture of my life, I can see God’s hand at work in ways that I couldn’t have imagined or planned for myself.
For instance, when I look back on my career and personal growth, I see how God opened doors that seemed so far out of reach at the time. There were moments when I felt frustrated, even lost, trying to find the right path. But God, in His infinite wisdom, placed me exactly where I needed to be at the perfect time. It was during those moments of waiting, those seasons of uncertainty, that I felt my faith deepen the most.
I want to encourage you today if you’re walking through a difficult season. Whether it’s struggles with your career, relationships, health, or simply with finding peace in a busy world, remember that God is faithful to His word. He sees your struggles, He knows your heart, and He is walking with you every step of the way. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 that, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” His plans for you are good, even if the current chapter doesn’t feel that way.
One of the things that has helped me during tough times is remembering that God’s timing is never late, even when it feels like we’re stuck in a season that will never end. We may not understand why things happen when they do, but I’ve learned that there’s always a purpose. And often, that purpose is to draw us closer to Him, to help us grow in faith, and to develop a deeper trust in His guidance.
So, I want to share a bit of encouragement with you today: if you’re in a season of waiting or difficulty, hold on. God is working things out behind the scenes. Don’t let the circumstances of the present cause you to doubt His goodness. Remember, you are never alone. He’s with you in every moment, every challenge, and every triumph. Trust that He will lead you to exactly where you need to be.
We’re all walking this journey together, and I believe that God is using every experience, both the beautiful and the challenging to shape us into who He’s called us to be. As we move forward, let’s continue to keep our hearts open to His plans and trust in His faithfulness.
Thank you so much for being here, for reading, and for sharing this space with me. I truly appreciate all of you. Until next time, take a deep breath, keep trusting, and remember that you are loved beyond measure.
Blessings to you!
