There are certain things that may have worked for us in the past, but eventually, they stop serving us. As spiritual beings, we are creatures of habit and often prefer the familiar, even if it no longer serves us. However, as we change and evolve, our lives and the things that make up our lives also change, such as our personal views, values, aspirations, responsibilities, obligations, personality traits, physical items, relationships, positions, groupings, and connections with people.

When something stops serving us, it means that it is no longer helping us move towards our desired direction. We may have adopted ideas, behaviours, aspirations, and responsibilities that were once useful but have outlived their purpose. It is essential to let go of these things and make room for new experiences.

One way to let go is to consider the different “lifetimes” we experience throughout our lives, from childhood to aging-death, and identify areas where we’d like to see changes. We should also reflect on the overarching themes or lessons from each lifetime and let go of anything that no longer serves us.

Another way is to write letters to the individuals who have had a significant impact on our lives, expressing our feelings of forgiveness, gratitude, or explanation. This exercise can help us release any emotional baggage we may be carrying.

We should also compare and contrast our desires and obligations and determine if we are living our lives out of want or obligation. Creating a written version of our mental monologue can help us understand our thoughts, their source, and whether they are advising or criticizing us.

As we continue to grow and evolve, it is vital to let go of the things that no longer serve us and make room for new experiences and opportunities that align with our current selves. Remember, it is okay to change our minds, demand change, and let things go. Trust the journey and have faith that everything is happening for our highest good.

Sending golden vibes and virtual hugs,

Scherise 🤍

Hello darling! 🤍 Welcome back to the blog! I’m so happy you’re here today. I’m sitting here with a warm cup of english tea, curled up in my favourite chair, reflecting on a topic that I know so many of us struggle with, debt. It can feel like a heavy, suffocating cloud, casting shadows on […]

Hello, my darling! Welcome back to the blog! I’m sitting in my cosy living room this morning, wrapped in my soft, oversized cardigan, with a fresh cup of hazelnut coffee by my side. The morning light is gently streaming through the window, and the house is quiet just me, my thoughts, and a moment of […]

Hello, darling welcome back to the blog! It’s a quiet Saturday afternoon, the kind where the sun peeks through the curtains just enough to cast a soft glow across the room. I’m sat by my window, tea in hand (yes, of course—I’m very much the British girl stereotype), gazing out at the grey skies that […]
