Hello, my darling!

I wanted to share something in my heart that’s been so encouraging. Recently, I got an email that really touched me: “Ever since you’ve been on this evolving modesty journey, there’s just this new beauty and radiance about you that is so admiring.” It made me realise how much our perspective and small changes can truly transform us, inside and out.

It’s incredible how even the most ordinary tasks can become special when we invite God into them. I’ve been learning that the little things we do every day can bring us closer to God if we approach them with intention.

Turning Chores into Prayer Moments

For many of us, prayer has become part of our daily routines, even during household chores. When we pray while washing dishes or folding clothes, it can completely change how we feel about those tasks. Instead of seeing them as a burden, we can see them as blessings. For example, washing dishes means we have food to eat and a family to care for, which is something to be thankful for.

This simple shift in how we think about chores makes them more meaningful. We can use these moments to connect with God and express gratitude.

Finding Peace in the Chaos

As wives and mums, we can often feel like there’s always something to do. But what if we saw these tasks as opportunities for peace, instead of stress? Even something as simple as folding laundry or making dinner can become a time to pause, pray, and reset. A few quiet minutes during the day to reflect can refresh us and help us feel grounded, even when everything else feels chaotic.

Taking a moment to be thankful for the simple things, like a cup of coffee or time to pray, can help us feel more at peace with our busy lives.

The Beauty of Simple Tasks

The way we view our everyday tasks can change everything. The Bible tells us that God is with us in every part of our lives—even in the smallest things. When we approach chores with a heart of gratitude, even simple tasks like folding laundry or cleaning the kitchen can become acts of love.

Praying over clothes while folding them, or thanking God for the food we get to serve, can turn ordinary tasks into meaningful moments. It’s a reminder that God is present in every part of our day.

Purpose in the Little Moments

Whether it’s folding your kids clothes, washing dishes after a family meal, or tidying up, every task can be a chance to connect with God. These small acts of service can remind us of how blessed we are in our roles as mums, wives, and caretakers. When we pray or reflect during these tasks, we see them as a gift rather than a chore.

We are reminded that everything we do can be an act of worship. God sees us in the little things, and He blesses us even in the routine moments.

Embrace the Everyday

It’s easy to forget the beauty of small moments in the rush of daily life. But when we slow down and approach each task with purpose, we can find God in the little things. Whether it’s folding laundry, washing dishes, or just taking a few minutes to pray, these moments can become meaningful times to connect with God and feel His presence.

So, let’s embrace the beauty of the everyday. Let’s find joy in the little things, knowing that God is working through us in every task.

Blessings to you all! 💖

You know those mornings when everything feels like it’s moving in slow motion? That was me. I woke up with a slight headache and, instead of my usual early start, […]

Hello, my darling, Welcome back to the blog. I’m sitting here in my conservatory, surrounded by glass, as the soft evening light pours in, casting a warm glow over the plants and vibrant flowers. This is one of my favourite places to be. The cool breeze outside brushes against the windows, and I can hear […]
