Hello, lovely readers! 🤍
Welcome back to the blog. You know those moments in life where everything feels like it’s holding its breath, waiting for something to happen? That’s exactly where I find myself right now. Imagine a rainy afternoon, tea in hand, staring out the window, half-hoping for a rainbow and half just wondering what on earth comes next. It’s not a cinematic, life-altering moment—more like a slightly chaotic middle chapter of a movie where the hero is figuring things out (minus the Hollywood gloss, of course).
If you’d asked me where I’d be now a year ago, I’d have painted a completely different picture. Back then, everything seemed lined up. I had a career path mapped out, my routines nailed down, and that warm sense of purpose that makes life feel stable. But life, as we know, loves a plot twist. Suddenly, the predictable rhythm I’d settled into turned into an awkward pause, and I wondered, Now what?
To be honest, this season has been a mix of messy, introspective, and surprisingly sweet moments. Picture me on a Monday morning, curled up on the sofa in oversized socks and a fluffy jumper, surrounded by notebooks, empty teacups, and half-hearted plans. My days aren’t filled with big, bold decisions but rather tiny steps of faith and moments of self-reflection. It’s been about finding beauty in the mundane, discovering lessons in the stillness, and learning to love the not-so-glamorous reality of waiting.
So, here I am, ready to spill the tea (pun absolutely intended) on what this season has looked like behind the scenes. Let’s talk about the doubts, the quiet victories, the moments that make me laugh at myself, and the tiny glimpses of hope that keep me moving forward. If you’re feeling a bit lost in your own in-between season, grab a cuppa and join me—because trust me, darling, you’re not alone in this.
Life’s Plot Twists and Lessons
Life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? Sometimes, the road we thought we were walking takes a turn, leaving us disoriented and questioning our next steps. I’m in one of those seasons right now—a season marked by loss and uncertainty, but also by hope and trust in God’s plan.
I recently faced a significant career setback that caught me off guard. It was a moment that forced me to confront my own expectations, pride, and the plans I had so carefully laid out. Losing something I had worked so hard for felt like losing a part of myself. But as painful as it was, it also became an invitation to draw closer to God.
In this waiting season, I don’t yet see the opportunities or the “why” behind the closed doors. It’s a space where questions linger and clarity feels just out of reach. But in the middle of all of this, I’m learning to trust that God’s timing is perfect, even when I can’t see the full picture.
Lessons in the Waiting
One of the biggest lessons I’m learning is that waiting is not wasted time. It’s in this season of stillness that God works on our hearts, refining us and preparing us for what’s next. The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 40:31:
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
This verse has been a lifeline for me. It’s a promise that waiting doesn’t mean stagnation; it’s a time of renewal and growth. I’ve found myself leaning on God more than ever, asking Him to renew my strength and give me peace as I go through this very uncertain time.

Trusting God When the Path Is Unclear
It’s easy to trust God when life is going according to plan. But what about when everything feels up in the air? This season has challenged me to place my trust in God, not in my circumstances. Proverbs 3:5-6 has become my daily prayer:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Even though I don’t yet see the next step, I know that God is directing my path. He’s teaching me to let go of the need for control and to rest in His words. It’s a humbling experience, but it’s also incredibly freeing.
Rediscovering Purpose
In the silence of this season, I’ve started to rediscover parts of myself that had been overshadowed by my career. I’ve spent more time in prayer, journaling, and reflecting on what truly matters. This pause has given me the space to ask deeper questions: What is God calling me to do next? How can I use this season to grow closer to Him and to others?
Encouragement for Others
If you’re in a similar season of uncertainty, I want to encourage you: You’re not alone. God sees you, and He’s with you in the waiting. It’s okay to feel frustrated or scared, but don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. God is working behind the scenes in ways you can’t yet imagine.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
Take this time to draw closer to Him. Pray, read His Word, and surround yourself with people who will uplift and encourage you. Remember that even when it feels like nothing is happening, God is at work. He’s preparing you for something greater

As I continue to walk through this season, I’m holding onto the promise that God’s plans for me are good. This season has been a reminder that life is unpredictable, but God is constant. His love, His grace, and His faithfulness never change. And as I wait for the next chapter to unfold, I’m choosing to trust Him—one step, one day, one prayer at a time.
