Hello, darling welcome back to the blog!

I’m sitting here in my kitchen, the kettle softly humming in the background while I sip my tea. (And yes, I’ve finally managed to make it hot for once, after a few too many times of forgetting about it.) You know those rare moments when life slows down just long enough for you to take a proper breath? Those moments where you can actually sit still for a second and just be? That’s where I am right now.

The house is quiet, well, for now anyway. My daughter is off playing in the other room, probably making some sort of creative mess involving every single toy in the house (she’s got very big plans for each one of them, I’m sure). The laundry, though, is still waiting. And the dishes? Don’t even get me started. But for now, I’m taking full advantage of this calm before the storm (because let’s face it, it’s never long before something gets spilled or someone needs a snack).

In these quiet moments, though, I’m reminded of something important: time is fleeting. It feels like just yesterday my little girl was a tiny baby in my arms, and now she’s running around with more energy than I can keep up with! It’s easy to get lost in the daily grind of life, the never-ending cycle of meals, playdates, and everything else. But I’ve been learning to stop, breathe, and remember that even in the rush, there’s beauty in each moment.

This post is about finding those moments, slowing down, and truly recognising God’s presence in the middle of the busy and chaotic. Time may be slipping away faster than I can get my head around it, but in each fleeting moment, there’s purpose, and God is there. So, grab your cup of tea (or coffee, if you prefer), get comfy, and keep reading. 💗

God Loves You Beyond Measure

I want to remind you today of how much God loves you. He cares for you deeply. He doesn’t want you to live a life separated from Him. No matter where you are in your faith journey, no matter what mistakes you’ve made, God wants you to know that He loves you with everlasting love. This is not just a theological concept, this is the foundation of who God is. He desires a personal relationship with you, one that brings peace, fulfilment, and a sense of purpose.

But here’s the thing: God’s plans for you cannot unfold until you realise who He is. When you truly recognise His holiness, His love, and His justice, you begin to understand His character in a way that allows you to align with His purpose for your life.

Take Time to Be Still Before God

If you’re reading this, I urge you to take a moment today to be still before God. Allow yourself to quiet the noise of the world and spend some time in His presence. Ask God to search your heart. Allow Him to reveal Himself to you in a new and powerful way. Don’t rush through this moment; let it be a time of genuine reflection and openness.

It can be easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, but the truth is, we need these quiet moments to reconnect with God. Take a deep breath and remember that the Creator of the universe longs to spend time with you. Don’t let the distractions of this world keep you from hearing His voice.

What God Has Planned for You

When we come to God with a heart of surrender, He reveals to us the incredible plans He has for us. These plans are not always immediately clear, but they are always good. God has blessings in store for you—blessings that are often tied to your willingness to recognise Him as your Savior and your guide.

I know life can be overwhelming at times. We face struggles, uncertainties, and challenges that seem impossible to navigate. But it is in these moments that God’s love shines the brightest. He wants to walk alongside you, providing comfort, guidance, and strength through it all. His plans for you will unfold in His perfect timing, and when you trust Him, you will see that His ways are always better than anything you could imagine on your own.

I’m praying that you will take the time to pause, seek God, and invite Him into every area of your life. May you experience His presence in a real and tangible way today.

If you’re going through a tough time, if you’re feeling lost or disconnected, remember that God is near. He sees you, He loves you, and He is ready to guide you toward the peace and purpose that only He can provide.

Take a moment right now to ask God to reveal Himself to you. Whether it’s through prayer, Scripture, or simply sitting in silence, let God speak to your heart. He is waiting for you.

And just like that, we’ve reached the end of another beautiful blog post. The laundry’s still there (I’ll get to it in a minute, I promise), and my daughter’s off creating yet another mini disaster with her toys, but for now, I’m content. I feel like I’ve been able to breathe a little more today, and maybe you have too.

It’s funny how life can move so quickly. One minute, you’re caught up in all the small things, meals to cook, toys to pick up, emails to reply to—and the next, you realise just how quickly the days are passing. But in these moments, when we remember to breathe and reflect, we can also see that God’s presence is in every single part of it.

So while I go off to sort out the next “adventure” my daughter has started in her playroom, I hope you’ll also find a moment to stop and reflect. Time may be fleeting, but the moments we share and the way we see God working in our lives, big or small, are precious.

Thanks for joining me on this little reflection today. Life’s a whirlwind, and while I might not have all the answers, I know that God is with me in the chaos and the calm. So, take a deep breath, laugh at the mess, and remember, every moment matters.

If you feel led, take a moment to leave a comment below. I would love to hear how God is working in your life and how I can pray for you. Let’s keep the conversation going and support each other on this journey of faith.

Until next time, may you find joy in the fleeting moments, grace in a mess, and peace in the present.

Sending blessings to you!

Scherise. X
