Hey darling,

Welcome back to the blog! So, let’s get real for a second because I know a lot of us struggle with something that doesn’t always get talked about, waiting in faith. It’s one thing to hear about walking by faith when everything is going great, but what do you do when you’re standing in the middle of uncertainty, and nothing seems to be moving? When you’ve been praying, fasting, believing, and doing everything right according to the Word, all you see is silence. No breakthrough. No answers. Just a whole lot of waiting.

Trust me, I’ve been there. It’s easy to get discouraged when it feels like you’ve been putting in the work and doing all the “right” things, yet nothing seems to change. And let’s be honest, sometimes, it feels like you’re walking in circles, trying to figure out why God isn’t answering your prayers or why the promises you’ve claimed aren’t happening. You start to wonder, Did I do something wrong? Is God mad at me? Why isn’t anything happening?

If that’s you right now, I just want you to take a deep breath and hear me clearly: You are not alone. I see you. God sees you. And He’s not forgotten about you. If you’ve been waiting and wondering if your prayers are reaching god’s ears, let me assure you that they are. Sometimes it feels like God is silent, but that silence doesn’t mean He’s absent or uninterested. It can feel frustrating, overwhelming, and even like your faith is being tested in ways you never expected. But my darling, in those moments, I want you to know that your faith is working. Even when you can’t see it, God is always at work behind the scenes, orchestrating things that are bigger than we can imagine.

So, if you’re in that place of waiting, feeling like your breakthrough is taking forever, I want you to lean in and listen. In this blog post, we’re going to dive deep into what it really means to wait in faith. How to stay encouraged, how to keep trusting even when it feels like God is silent, and how to worship while waiting. I’m sharing my journey, the ups, the downs, and the lessons I’ve learned in those long, hard seasons.

This journey isn’t easy, but you are not walking it alone. So, let’s unpack what it means to stay faithful when the answer hasn’t come yet. You might feel like you’re stuck, but I promise you, God is doing something amazing through your patience and trust. Let’s get into it!

God Has Not Abandoned You

When the answers seem delayed or when suffering persists, it’s easy to feel like God is distant or silent. I’ve had those moments too, questioning if God has turned His face away, if I’ve done something wrong, or if I’ve just forgotten.

But darling, let me remind you of a truth that anchors my soul: God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your pain does not mean that God has abandoned you. Instead, it often means He is doing a deeper work in your heart—work that cannot be rushed or fully understood from where we stand.

It’s in these moments of silence that God is shaping us, teaching us to trust Him even when we can’t see what He’s doing.

Worship in the Waiting

If there’s one thing I’ve learned through my own seasons of struggle, it’s the power of worshipping God even when it hurts. Take Job, for example: after losing everything his children, wealth, and health fell to the ground in worship (Job 1:20). Or David, who after mourning the loss of his child, still turned to God with a heart of praise.

Worship shifts the atmosphere of our souls. It allows us to declare that God is good, even when life isn’t. It’s not about denying our pain but choosing to praise Him in the middle of it. Worship strengthens us and silences the lies of the enemy, reminding us that our faith is rooted in an unchanging God.

When we worship in our waiting, we proclaim that our hope is not in the outcome but in the One who holds the outcome.

The Purpose of the Pain

A sister in Christ once told me, “The pain you’re going through is attached to a purpose. God will get glory out of this.” That truth has carried me through some of my darkest days.

I know it’s not easy to hear when you’re in the thick of suffering, but Scripture confirms that God uses all things even our pain for His glory and our good:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Your suffering is not wasted. It’s in these moments of waiting that God refines our character, deepens our dependence on Him, and uses us as vessels of His grace and strength.

When Prayers Go Unanswered

It’s frustrating when prayers seem to go unanswered. You might wonder if you’re doing something wrong or if God is withholding His goodness. Even Jesus, in His humanity, cried out on the cross, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46).

But unanswered prayers don’t always mean “no.” Sometimes, God’s answer is “not yet.” His timing is perfect, and He sees the bigger picture when we can only see a fragment. As Isaiah 60:22 promises, “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

Other times, the answer might truly be “no,” but that doesn’t mean God is unkind. It means He has something even better in store—something that aligns with His perfect will and purpose for your life.

Holding Onto Hope

If you’re feeling tired, forgotten, or overwhelmed by the weight of waiting, know this: God sees you. He hears every whispered prayer, every groan, and every tear you’ve cried. The waiting may be long, but it is never in vain.

Lean into His promises during this time:

  • “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)
  • “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:29)
  • “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him.” (Lamentations 3:25)

Keep showing up with your faith, even if all you can say is a simple, “Lord, help me.” He is faithful, and He will sustain you.

Let’s Walk This Journey Together

You’re not alone in this. If this resonates with you, share your story in the comments or reach out for prayer. Let’s encourage one another in this walk of faith. Your pain is real, but so is your purpose and so is the God who holds your every moment.

So, what’s the takeaway from all this, my darling? If you’re in a season of waiting, whether it’s for healing, a breakthrough, provision, or any kind of answer don’t give up. I know it’s tough. It can be so tough when it feels like nothing is changing. When you’ve been praying and waiting for what seems like forever and still see no progress. But hear me when I say this: God is still working.

I know you might not see it right now, but there is a purpose in the pain. There’s meaning in the waiting. Every prayer, every moment of worship, every ounce of patience is building something in you that’s preparing you for the breakthrough that is coming. It might not look like it, and it might not feel like it, but God doesn’t waste a single moment. He’s refining you. He’s shaping you into someone who will be able to handle the blessing that’s on the way. Your faith is growing stronger, even in the silence.

So if you’re tired, keep going. If you’re discouraged, press in. God has not forgotten you. His promises are still yes and amen, and His timing is always perfect. Sometimes, we just need to trust that He’s working behind the scenes in ways we can’t see yet. His timing is better than ours, and He’s preparing you for something far greater than you can imagine. You may not understand it now, but trust that He has a plan, and it’s good.

I’m here for you, cheering you on every step of the way. So, if you’re feeling weary, overwhelmed, or like you just need a little extra encouragement, know that I’m praying for you. I’m believing that God will meet you where you are, that He’ll give you the strength to keep going, and that soon, the answers you’ve been waiting for will come maybe in ways you never expected, but always in His perfect timing.

Let’s keep believing, keep trusting, and keep worshipping. Because though the wait might be long, the reward is always worth it. And remember, God is faithful. He will never leave you. Your waiting season will turn into a testimony of His goodness, grace, and faithfulness. I believe that with my whole heart.

Sending blessings to you!
