Hello, my friend,

Welcome back to the blog. I’m sitting here on my garden step, the soft evening light casting a golden glow over the garden, with a cool breeze rustling the leaves of the trees. I’ve got a cosy scarf wrapped around my neck, my favourite coat on, and a pair of comfy boots that are perfect for this evening. As I gaze out at the beauty of the changing season, I feel a sense of peace and gratitude fill my heart. The world feels a little quieter now, and I’m reminded of the simple joys that surround us each day. It’s such a blessing to be here, in this moment, with you all.

As I sit here, I can’t help but reflect on how much has changed lately, how God’s hand has been at work in my life, even in ways I didn’t expect. Life has a way of unfolding in the most beautiful, sometimes surprising ways, and I’ve found that leaning into God’s plan, even when it’s not clear, is where true peace resides. And today, I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about that journey with you, about trusting in God’s timing, even when it doesn’t look the way we thought it would.

So, whether you’re curled up in a cosy spot or out enjoying the fresh air, I invite you to take a deep breath with me and reflect on all the ways God is guiding us, even in the midst of uncertainty. Let’s dive in together, my friend.

In a world that often feels uncertain, there’s something beautiful about embracing the creativity and imagination that God has blessed us with. I’ve been reflecting on how much joy and peace we can find in the gifts He’s given us whether it’s through reading, listening to music, or simply enjoying a movie. These moments of creativity can be so fulfilling, but only when we centre them around Him. God gave us creativity to share with one another and is glorified in that fact alone if He’s your focus. When our hearts are aligned with God’s purpose, even the smallest moments can become a form of worship.

Books, especially, have become a source of both expression and reflection for me. There’s something powerful about the way literature, even fiction, can draw us closer to understanding the world and each other. I remember a conversation with a friend who shared that a course changed her perspective on both literature and faith. It reminded me that the more we understand people and the world around us, the more we can understand God’s heart. And let’s not forget the beauty of crying, tears are a language God understands. Sometimes, we don’t even need to understand why we’re crying; God knows our hearts, and in that, we can find comfort.

In the midst of it all, I’ve also seen so many of you share your struggles via email, your prayers for loved ones who don’t yet know Jesus, and the challenges of everyday life. Some of you have shared moments of vulnerability, like dealing with difficult emotions, watching family members struggle with faith, or just feeling overwhelmed with the demands of life. It’s humbling to see how open and honest you are, and it reminds me that none of us are alone in our journeys. We are called to support one another in love, even when it feels hard, knowing that God is with us through every high and low.

So, as we continue to grow in our faith and creativity, let’s remember that every moment whether joyful or sorrowful can bring glory to God. And while we wait for His return, let’s continue to press into our calling, lean on one another, and embrace the blessings that God has entrusted to us.

Thank you for all your prayers, words of encouragement, and shared experiences. It’s such a blessing to walk this journey together, and I look forward to continuing to share in this beautiful, messy, and meaningful walk of faith with all of you. God bless you!

Scherise. X

Hello, darling welcome back to the blog! This morning started as most do in my house, with a delightful mix of chaos and crumbs. My little one decided that her yoghurt would look far better on the table than in her mouth, and I was left wondering why I bother wearing anything but a washable […]

Hello darling, Welcome back to the blog! Behind the scenes, life isn’t always as put together as it seems, and today was a perfect example. You know those mornings when everything feels like it’s moving in slow motion? That was me. I woke up with a slight headache and, instead of my usual early start, […]

Hello, my darling, Welcome back to the blog. I’m sitting here in my conservatory, surrounded by glass, as the soft evening light pours in, casting a warm glow over the plants and vibrant flowers. This is one of my favourite places to be. The cool breeze outside brushes against the windows, and I can hear […]
