Hello my darlings,
Welcome back to the blog. I’m writing in my fav jumper and slippers, with the heater blaring out a fresh cup of coffee sitting next to me, and the last remnants of caramel still resting on my tongue. I feel blessed, content, and grateful for all of you, especially those who take time out of your lives to peek at the blog.
Today, I’m reflecting on what it means to truly reset our lives, something I’ve experienced firsthand over the past few years. If you’ve been following along with me, you know that I’ve walked through some really challenging moments. There were seasons when I felt lost, disconnected, and not quite in sync with God’s purpose for me. But through it all, He has been faithful to lead me into a season of growth.
For a long time, I was caught up in the world’s idea of success and fulfilment. I was constantly striving, chasing after the next thing, and trying to make everything look perfect from the outside. But no matter how much I accomplished, there was always this underlying feeling of emptiness.
Then came a turning point. After the birth of my daughter, Keyana, everything changed. It was around that time that I had a profound encounter with Jehovah’s Witnesses, which sparked something deep inside me. I started to reflect more on my faith and began reconnecting with the church. At that point, I was still focused on manifestation and the law of attraction, but I began to realise that these were only temporary solutions.
Through a lot of prayer, growth, and seeking God’s guidance, I started to understand that true fulfilment doesn’t come from external achievements or worldly things. It comes from aligning with God’s purpose for our lives and trusting in His timing. It was in this process that I began to reset my life—physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. There were many moments of doubt and struggle. I had to let go of old habits, unhealthy patterns, and the things that no longer served me. But each step of the way, I felt God’s grace and love carrying me forward. As I surrendered to His plan, I found myself becoming more grounded in my faith, more at peace with who I am, and more grateful for the blessings in my life.
Today, I’m embracing a new chapter—one where I’m not chasing after external validation but instead focusing on living authentically, according to God’s will. This reset has not only transformed my spiritual life but also my perspective on family, career, and personal growth.
I truly believe that God has a purpose for each one of us, and sometimes it takes a major shift in perspective to discover it. It may not always come easy, but it’s worth it. The reset process, though challenging, is truly a gift from God, allowing us to realign with His plan and live with intention.
So, if you’re in a season of transition or struggle, know that you’re not alone. God is with you every step of the way, guiding you through the process of renewal and transformation. It’s never too late to hit that reset button.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Your support means the world to me, and I’m so grateful to be able to share these moments with you.
Until next time, keep trusting God and walking in His light.
