Hello my darlings!

Welcome back to the blog. I’m sitting here in my favourite oversized jumper, comfy socks, and curled up in my cosy armchair. The rain is gently tapping on the window, and I’ve got a warm cup of vanilla tea resting on the table beside me, filling the room with its comforting aroma. I feel peaceful and grateful as I take a moment to pause, reflect, and send thanks to all of you, especially those who take the time to join me here. I’m so glad we’re able to share this space together.

As I sit here, reflecting on my spiritual walk, I’m reminded of one of the most powerful changes to my Christian journey, which was finding a Christian community. For much of my early life, I didn’t have a strong connection to a Christian community. While I always believed in God and had some understanding of faith, I wasn’t truly immersed in a group of people who lived out biblical values. I didn’t have those close friends or mentors who encouraged me to keep my focus on God’s Word. Instead, I found myself navigating life on my own, trying to figure out my faith and purpose without the kind of guidance I now know is essential. I realised that without a community to strengthen me, I was missing an integral part of the Christian life, accountability and fellowship.

As my faith grew and I started to understand the depth of God’s love and the importance of His Word in my life, I began to feel a strong desire to surround myself with like-minded people who could encourage me and walk alongside me in my spiritual journey. I wanted to be part of a community that not only believed in Jesus but also actively lived according to His teachings. I longed for a space where I could grow, learn, and be challenged in my faith.

But finding that kind of community didn’t come easily. I had to step outside my comfort zone and be intentional in my search. It wasn’t a matter of just walking into any church or group and finding what I was looking for. I prayed for guidance and asked God to lead me to the right people, knowing that He would provide in His perfect timing.

The journey was not always straightforward. There were times when I felt isolated or unsure if I would ever find that group of people who shared my biblical values. But as I continued to seek God, He began to show me places and people that were aligned with my heart. Slowly, I met individuals who were not only committed to living out their faith but who also became my mentors, my accountability partners, and my friends. These were people who were ready to challenge me, support me, and encourage me to grow in my walk with Christ.

Being part of a biblical community has been such a blessing, not only for my spiritual growth but for every area of my life. These relationships have been a source of strength, especially as I navigate life as a wife and mother. Having a tribe to walk with me has been invaluable. They have prayed for me, spoken life into my challenges, and celebrated God’s goodness with me. They’ve reminded me that I don’t have to walk this journey alone. It’s in these relationships that I’ve found the true meaning of fellowship, as we support each other through life’s ups and downs.

The beauty of finding this tribe is not just about sharing the same beliefs but about building one another up in faith. In this community, we learn together, we encourage one another, and we sharpen each other. I’ve seen firsthand how essential it is to be surrounded by people who challenge you to grow deeper in your relationship with God. They help hold you accountable, pray with you when you’re struggling, and remind you of God’s promises when you feel weak or discouraged.

I can’t imagine walking through life without this kind of community. Having people who genuinely care about your spiritual growth and are invested in seeing you live out God’s will for your life has been one of the greatest gifts I’ve received. It has brought me peace in moments of uncertainty and joy in times of celebration.

If you’re someone who feels disconnected or is searching for a community that aligns with your faith, I want to encourage you to keep seeking God. He knows your heart, and He will lead you to the right people at the right time. It may not happen immediately, and it might require stepping out of your comfort zone, but I promise you, it’s worth the effort. God’s plan for your life is bigger than you can imagine, and part of that plan involves the people He brings into your life to walk with you in faith.

Don’t let fear or uncertainty hold you back from seeking out a biblical community. Trust in God’s timing, keep praying and remain open to where He is guiding you. He will provide the tribe you need, and in His perfect time, you’ll find yourself surrounded by people who will help you grow, encourage you, and love you as you pursue His purpose for your life.

You don’t have to walk this journey alone. Your tribe is out there. Let God lead you to them, and watch how He works through your community to help you grow into the person He has created you to be.

Blessings to you 💖
