Setting goals often gets a bad rap in spiritual circles. Some say it shows a lack of trust in God’s plan. But is that really the case?

While it’s true we shouldn’t rush ahead without God’s guidance, it’s also not right to sit idle, waiting for everything to fall into place magically. God gave us talents for a reason, expecting us to use them for good (Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 12:4-8, Matthew 25:14-30).

Setting goals while seeking God’s advice doesn’t mean we doubt Him. Instead, it shows we trust Him to guide us as we move forward. Are your goals in line with what God wants for you, or are you just doing your own thing and hoping God will tag along?

In my own journey, I’ve found that including God in my goal-setting brings more fulfilment. Before, I’d chase after my goals without considering God’s plan, and I’d feel empty despite my achievements. But when I started aligning my goals with God’s will, I felt more purposeful and satisfied.

Seeking God’s guidance doesn’t mean everything will be easy. Pain and challenges are part of growth, but trusting God’s plan, even when it’s tough, leads to meaningful victories.

It takes time to get used to aligning your goals with God’s will. You have to pause and ask for His direction before making plans. And while God might not answer right away, He promises to show us His plan when we’re ready.

In your career, too, it’s important to trust in God’s timing. Even though we live in a world where everything seems to happen instantly, patience and trust in God’s timing are crucial. Let your career be a testament to God’s faithfulness and love, knowing His plans are full of blessings and meaning.

So, as you set your goals and chase your dreams, remember to seek God’s guidance, trust in His timing, and make sure your goals match your faith and values. Doing this will bring a remarkable transformation to your life, guided by God’s wisdom and purpose.

Sending blessings to you.

Books That Make Learning Fun Hello, darling, and welcome back to the blog. I thought it was about time for me to do a blog post on the collection of books that I’ve got for Keyana. I thought they would be great to put within the homeschool section. I have collected most of our books, […]
