Beautiful Sister ✨
I don’t believe you’re here by accident.
My prayer is that as you read this, the peace of Christ meets you right where you are.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you (Numbers 6:24–25).
May this space bring your heart comfort and your spirit a breath of fresh air.
This blog is more than just a collection of posts —
it’s a space to breathe, reset, and realign with God’s truth.
It’s where we lay down the weight of the world and pick up His Word instead.
I’m Scherise Saskia —
a creative soul, a wife, a mother, and most importantly, a woman who’s fallen deeply in love with the Lord.
I was born in London, but my heritage is proudly Jamaican.
My partner and I began dating at university — back then, we didn’t know where life would lead,
but it turns out we were meant to be lifelong partners. From our union, we’ve been blessed with one little bundle of joy.
I’ve always been someone who needs to express what’s inside.
When life gets overwhelming, creativity becomes my therapy.
Whether I’m writing, sketching, illustrating, or creating something new —
it helps me process, pray, and pour out.
My Faith Journey
I grew up in a Christian household, but it wasn’t deeply rooted in practice.
We knew of God, we knew Bible verses, and we’d give thanks before meals,
but we didn’t walk in His Word daily.
In university, I drifted further.
Surrounded by people who didn’t share my faith and drawn in by the self-help culture,
I began seeking healing and purpose in all the wrong places — manifestation, new age, “positivity” —
But it all left me empty.
Then, I became a mother. And everything changed.
In the quiet moments holding my daughter, I started hearing God again.
What began as a whisper grew into a full calling. I surrendered. I turned back to Christ — this time, for real.
I shed the weight of worldly beliefs (literally and spiritually),
reset my lifestyle, and walked back into alignment with God’s will.
This blog was born out of this huge change.
I’ve always dreamed of owning my own business.
At school, I excelled in art and business, scoring the highest in both.
After college, I attended one of London’s top universities to study BA Fashion Design and Marketing.
I worked as a fashion stylist, then stepped into marketing — assisting on TV, celebrity, and influencer campaigns.
I also gained a project management qualification and progressed into senior marketing roles.
Eventually, I began freelancing, launched my own marketing agency,
and later transitioned into business coaching and consulting.
Each step in my journey has equipped me to serve women with excellence, purpose, and a Kingdom mindset.
My Work & Background
Even when I’ve doubted myself or felt too “quiet” for the internet, I’ve kept this blog going —
because I know someone needs the reminder that God is still moving.
This space is for the:
Woman in transition
Creative seeking clarity
Mama finding her feet
Sister rediscovering her faith
Believer who loves God but doesn’t always feel strong enough to press on
I know the Bible can seem intimidating — I’ve been there.
But it’s not just a book. It’s alive. It heals. It builds. It restores.
It’s my prayer that this blog helps you fall in love with the God of the Bible,
and encourages you to study His Word more deeply.
I am humbled every time I receive a message from a woman across the world saying,
“Your content brought me closer to God.”
That is not me — that’s Jesus working through me.
All glory to Him.
Thank you — truly — for being here.
Your support, prayers, and presence mean more than words can say.
With love,
Scherise Saskia
Gardening is my chill pill. Before purchasing a house with a garden, my flat was basically a jungle.
So, you've stumbled upon my little corner of the internet, and I'm so happy to share 3 things about me.

Fun fact number one
Me and maps? We're not friends. GPS is my knight in shining armor. I've got a better chance of finding Narnia than reading a map.
Fun fact number two
Emotions are my jam. I’m that friend who cries during commercials. No shame!
Fun fact number three
