Hello Darling,

Welcome back to the blog! Today I want to about routines. I’ve always been someone who appreciates a good routine, and lately, I’ve been focusing on making my Christian night routine intentional. I’ve come to realise that the success of the next day often starts the night before, and that’s why I’ve made it a priority to spend my evenings with God, preparing my heart and mind for the next day.

Let me share my cosy and productive Christian night routine, which I hope will inspire you to create your own.

1. Winding Down with Worship Music

After a long day, there’s nothing like winding down with some soft worship music. I put on a playlist that helps me shift my focus away from the chaos of the day and realign my thoughts with the truth of who God is. Whether I’m doing chores, cooking, or simply relaxing, I love the feeling of being surrounded by worship. It’s a reminder that everything I do, no matter how small, can be done for God’s glory.

2. Skincare and Self-Care

Taking care of my body is just as important as taking care of my spirit. I’ve found that having a skincare routine is a wonderful way to wind down and show myself some love. I keep it simple with a gentle cleanser, moisturiser, and soothing essential oils. This routine gives me a few quiet moments where I can focus on the present and be thankful for my health and well-being. I also enjoy listening to long Christian prayer sessions, usually an hour long. Although I don’t always listen to the entire session, I often get through about 40 minutes.

3. Planning for Tomorrow

I always take a few minutes to look ahead to the next day. I’ll check my calendar, make sure I’ve got everything prepared for the morning, and jot down any tasks I want to prioritise. This not only helps me feel more organised but also sets me up for a successful start the next day. I find that planning at night gives me peace of mind, knowing that I won’t be scrambling in the morning.

4. Getting to Bed Early

Finally, I make sure to get to bed at a reasonable hour. I used to stay up late, but I’ve realised that getting enough sleep is essential for my physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. A good night’s rest helps me feel refreshed, ready to take on the day, and more present in my relationship with God.

Not Every Night Is Perfect

Of course, not every night looks like this. Some nights, I’m tired and can’t get to everything on my list. Other times, life happens, and things don’t go according to plan. But the goal isn’t perfection, it’s progress. My Christian night routine is something I strive for, and when I follow it, I feel more at peace and more connected to God.

Incorporating time with Jesus into my night routine has completely changed how I view my evenings. Instead of ending the day feeling rushed or stressed, I end it with a sense of calm and purpose. God uses these moments to speak to me, and I’ve learned that spending time with Him, even at the end of the day, is a beautiful way to honour Him and recharge.

I hope this routine inspires you to create a space for God in your evenings. It doesn’t have to be long or complicated, just intentional. Whether you’re doing it alone or with your loved ones, taking time to focus on God before bed is a beautiful way to end your day on a positive note.

Sending blessings your way!

Scherise. X
