As I have come to understand, mastering the art of letting go is crucial for spiritual growth. We must let go of our worries and tensions, recognizing that we are not always in control. As I undergo significant changes in my life, I am learning to let go of the need for control and trust that everything will be okay in the end.

I recall a time when my close friend believed she had complete control over her body during her pregnancy. As an athletic and fit person, she was determined to maintain her high-intensity workouts. However, her body had other plans. She had to let go of her control and accept that her body was in command.

Through my friend’s experience, I learned that we cannot control everything, no matter how hard we try. Life will unfold as it wants, and we must adapt and control our actions. We can only aspire for a specific outcome and do everything in our power to attain it, but we have no influence over what actually occurs.

Recently, my partner and I had planned a picnic in London. Two weeks in a row, the rain prevented us from going, but we were determined to make it happen on the third week. However, the forecast showed rain yet again. Despite this, we decided to take a drive and have our picnic in the car. To our surprise, the weather turned out to be perfect, and my partner even proposed to me that day.

Through this experience, I learned that we cannot always be in charge, and we must let go of the need for control. When things do not go as planned, we can become agitated and stressed, leading to unhappiness. However, if we renounce total control over everything and everyone, we can set ourselves free and exist in the present moment. We can learn from our mistakes and attempt something new while still aiming for a better future, with the hope that everything will turn out fine.

Life is unpredictable, but that is okay. We must trust the god’s plan and have faith that everything happens for a reason. There will always be other opportunities for new and exciting ventures to come our way.

Hey darling Welcome back to the blog! Life moves fast, like, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it fast. One moment, you’re trying to figure out how to adult, and the next, you’re staring at photos wondering when your hairstyle became “retro.” If there’s one thing I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older (besides how to keep houseplants alive… sometimes), it’s that […]

Hello darling, Welcome back to the blog! Today I want to talk about something that has been playing on my mind lately, gods timing. Waiting is one of the most challenging parts of life. Whether it’s waiting for a promotion at work, a change in our relationships, or answers to our prayers, we all know […]

Hi darling, Welcome back to the blog! If you’d told me years ago that I’d come to crave moments of quiet, I probably would’ve laughed and asked, “But what would I even do by myself?” My days used to be jam-packed with noise, 1000 email notifications, toddler giggles (and tantrums), and let’s not forget my […]
